About Project

Background Information

Autism is a lifelong disorder that begins in childhood and hinders brain development, which damages social interaction and communication. It is a basic requirement for individuals with this disorder to benefit equally from the educational opportunities that other individuals benefit from. However, it is imperative that they receive this training from teachers who are experts in their field. Therefore, teacher training in special education is very important in terms of meeting the needs of children with special needs correctly and preparing them for life in the best way possible.

it is very important for the development of individuals to create family-centered education systems in the education of individuals with ASD. For parent-mediated interventions to be successful, collaborative partnerships between educators and parents are essential. Family-centered education planning is essential for this partnership to be effective. However, due to the epidemic and closures, the education processes of these individuals were badly affected and they could not be adapted to distance education. In addition, families of individuals with ASD do not have sufficient competencies in special education and distance education. With our project, a platform will be created that families can easily access and educate both themselves and their children, and in this way, individuals with ASD will be able to continue their education under the supervision of their families in cooperation with educators who are experts in their fields. Our project is designed to meet the needs of children with ASD individually and to increase the family's capacity to meet these needs. With our project, other family members also have the opportunity to increase their knowledge and skills, support the development of children and increase their quality of life.
